Same crap as in Oakland. This vaunted pitching staff cannot get ahead in the count, and then cannot stop the big innings from happening.

Oh, and weak ass rubber arm in center field is a massive liability.

That inning is also on Maldy…he wasn't getting the outside edge to the righties and Maldy kept calling for it to allow 2 walks on 9 pitches.

He's hitting .274 in July, had a couple of doubles last game & is on pace for like 50.

He's not winning any batting titles this year but I think he'll get on one of his patented hot streaks and help us win a few games yet.
