If a no-talent never-was is lucky enough to be on a team this good, he should at least be a good employee and teammate. He proved he was neither last year when he went public gritching about being pulled too quick in games. That's what finally tears it with me.

Him just sucking is one thing, being a giant crybaby is another. It's one bad start out of his last three but he has the shortest leash right now.

In the postgame they're trying to excuse Odorizzi on the basis of the fingernail.

I'm trying to imagine Dizzy Dean, Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale, Whitey Ford, or Sal Maglie leaving the game with a owie fingernail. I've been unsuccessful.

Astros taking it too easy versus crap teams has been a staple over the last five seasons

At least a minor leaguer would get some experience and you could see what he can do if you're kinda writing off that game anyways
