He induced 2 ground balls that should of at a bare minimum got the lead runner out at 2nd, if not a DP to end the game, or a ground out to end the game.

I too was curious about the pitching change?

Why not run Montero back out?

You had two choices. Use Montero for the 9th and lose him for G2, or use Neris and see what happens.

Neris did his job. This game should be over.
They entered the 9th with 1 run on 3 hits and exited the 9th with 2 runs on 5 hits; I have a hard time saying that he did his job. Even if they knock the RBI hit down to keep Hicks from scoring....that's still a hit and so they gain 40% of their total hit production for the day against him.
