I concur - Meyers has been better than expected after such a long layoff.
Jake has been fine. He has to figure out the strike-out issue. It looks like he hunts fastballs and gets fooled on change-ups. Curves give him problems too.
If he can reduce the Ks and elevate the ball a little more, he can be very good.

Looks like Pressly's velo continues to rise. I wouldn't be shocked if he averages 95+ later this month or into Aug.
Things to clean up going forward:
Yordan and Brantley healthy
Production from 1B, one way or another
Maton on the road, or another reliever to get lefties out
LMJ and how the rotation shakes out
This team is very good, and a few tweaks away from the baseball equivalent of a nuclear threat
