Is that still a rule? Or maybe injury allows a switch without penalty?
my mistake... I guess the rule changed this year. You can pinch hit for the DH and the pinch hitter becomes the DH going forward.
to be fair to you, Dusty probably forgot it, too

Pinch hit for DH is OK. Taking the guy who is at DH and putting him in a defensive position does make you forfeit the DH

in previous years yes, but now with a rule change the pinch hitter just stays in as the DH

in further defense of Maton, he was facing Walsh, Rengifo and Stassi. 2 lefties, which Maton has better numbers vs than righties, and a Mendoza line-hitting catcher. He just needs to make a better throw to 2B and we're fine.

but he didn't, and we aren't

Throwing out the 2020 season, their records since 2018 are:
