Agreed. If he and Bregs just take the single out at 1b, we are out of that inning still with the 4 run lead.

I don't blame Maton for going to 2nd on his ground ball. That would have been 2 and it was the right play. He just botched the throw badly.

my mistake... I guess the rule changed this year. You can pinch hit for the DH and the pinch hitter becomes the DH going forward.
