I detest the dumb, amateurish production of our games by Apple TV, but I do like way we play when they're around.

Pitching problem is easily solved. Due to seniority JV gets to pitch every fifth day or whenever he wants. The other seven (after LMJ, Odorizzi and Brown are added) just have a rotation around him. Simple. Big dog gets to do what he wants.

I agree but the help from blue tonight is enabling the performance a bit. If the ump was calling an accurate zone he may have had some trouble.
The same could be said for a number of opposing pitchers as well...

Fun fact that I saw we have the second weakest remaining schedule for the rest of the year. Combined with the fact that we have the most home games remaining is a nice combo for a strong second half.
