Does anyone else remember the collision between Jesus Alou and Hector Torres at about the same place on the field in the late 60's? I forget which one it was but one of the layers was knocked unconscious and was having trouble breathing. I remember the concern was that he had swallowed his tongue but there were no major injuries to either player. Sure hope both guys are ok.

Our bats have yet to really click, we've played the fewest home games of just about every other team, and oh yeah, we have the 2nd best record in all of baseball.

That's what I would do. Use off days where you can too. It would be good for Odo, Garcia, Javier and Urkeeding.

I played both sides of it.

Logically, it made sense. He didn't need to be with the team. He wasn't going to be better in time to actually rejoin before his deal was over. It would be more effective at home. He got to spend time with the wife and kid.

But you'd think someone invested in the success of the Astros would show up once. Or at least be a cheerleader on social media. It rubbed me the wrong way.

The only reason it seemed weird to y'all was because he was being compared to LMJ who was here the whole time. LMJ was the one who was the exception.

I never thought it was weird. How many guys rehabbing from TJ are hanging around in the dugout and clubhouse?

The whole JV doesn't wanna be here and is done with the Astros because he disappeared was one of the most uninformed takes of these threads over the years.

Oh...I'm gonna lump in the whole 'If he wanted to throw in the WS he could' to this conversation.

They aren't bad per say but I'm not a big fan either. The only problem I have with ours is the blue pants. Same with all the uniform combos with colored pants….it's just not baseball. White and grey pants…that's it.
