I didn't realize Matt Carpenter was with NYY.

His last two years he played 180 games and just eyeballing it slashed roughly .165/.310/.285. An OPS of basically .600 with 7 total HRs. Two full years with STL.

This year he's played in 13 games and is slashing .265/.385/.824 with 6 HRs. And at home it's .368/.455/1.211 with 5 of those HRs.

Tell me they are are getting to play with the same ball. Convince me they aren't doing something behind the scenes.

I don't believe it for a minute. Not one stinking minute.

Well, 1st of all, they play in a little league stadium….but secondly, they're definitely f'ing with the balls.

I mean, why would fans not start coming to that conclusion when we already know that they got caught cheating and MLB/Manfred colluded with them to try and keep it hushed up while putting the Astros & Red Sox on blast.

Like a I said the other day…I think it's incredibly sketchy that they're off to this amazing start and ESPN isn't having to wipe the semen off of their cameras and keyboards.

Vote Tucker for ASG. He's 8th in all MLB in WAR (tied with Yordan) and 3rd in all MLB OF behind only Trout & Judge….and he's 10th in AL OF voting!

That needs to change.

Yankees are on pace to win 120 games this year. There's no way that keeps through September.

I do see them winning at least 105 though and taking home field.

So let's assume we get Odo back July 1. Do we go back at a 6 man rotation? I expect so.

Now assume you get LMJ back mid August. Surely he goes to the pen for long relief. He won't be stretched out and I can't imagine you can get him ready to go long. Maybe they get inventive and use him as an opener? Luis could benefit here as he really should never see a lineup a third time. Let LMJ open for him. If you get 1.1 or 1.2 out if him and then use Luis for 5.1 or 5.2 now you are into the 7th or even 8th.
