Astros have been really good with quality starts this year. 2nd in MLB at 50% of starts being quality starts.

Yeah, but he was also dealing with essentially being the 1, the guy to lean on in the post season. He hasn't had to that yet.

He did it all during the season last year.

We're in the same page though, he has taken another step in maturity.

Felt like everyone did. Still blows my mind that team came within two wins of a title after the LMJ injury, with how bad the offense was by the end, and considering the multiple pitching blowups.

He's gotta pitch in these situations so we know what he has.

He's had a pretty decent career and we're going to need him in the post season.

I'd say a 3 run lead in the 7th, against the bottom part of the order is the perfect place for him.
