Am I reading that incorrectly in that his batting average is higher than his on base percentage for those 12 games.

Here is another reminder that Jones also dropped a routine pop up in foul ground that cost us a game vs San Diego because Tatis hit one that hasn't landed yet the pitch after the pop up.
