I only intently watched the first couple innings but Gilbert wasn't all that sharp either. They just missed every good pitch. I remember Yordan fouling off a hanging slider that he should've crushed, before swinging and missing at the fastball that struck him out. And then Yuli followed by looking at one or two really good pitches before the one he swung at.

The offense is pretty terrible and has been…if pitching is off, then there aren't any winning streaks. He isn't wrong; they've trailed in 14 of 14 innings in this series while being outscored 10-1.
Who do we sit or trade??? Catcher and cf?

As great as his defense is, I think we have to give strong consideration to platooning Yuli and getting a better offensive first baseman. He's broken on offense and shows no signs of overcoming it. I don't know who the guy was who wore his uniform last year and won the batting title, but this isn't him.
Yes to center field. Get a corner outfielder and let Tucker play center or get a real center fielder.
Bregman is making way too much money to be as inconsistent as he is (not saying trade him, he just needs to stop overthinking everything).
Catcher is somewhere I think we are stuck with maldy as the #1 guy. I think Castro has to go and either call up Lee or trade for a serviceable backup who you can pinch hit and sub late in games.
Edit: I know I'm give catch some heat for the yuli take, but it's just not tenable anymore offensively
This team is an enigma. They have been more bad then good offensively all year and it is not just Yuli,
Only Altuve and possibly Brantley (out of the core of vets) are hitting the ball at an acceptable MLB average.
I am not sure what the issue is with our hitting, but it is concerning.

Thus far, it feels like Dusty's load management has really been a cooler for the offense…I understand the approach, but it feels like the devoted adherence to that approach has killed any continuity for the everyday guys.

I am finding myself getting urked at our approach. We take pitches we should hit, we swing at marginal pitches, we miss pitches that we should smoke.
How many times have we been shut out? How me casual joe pitch have we made look like an all star cy young?
When this team goes into an offensive funk, they really tank. And this year has more often then not been an offensive funk. Our pitching has been superb, carried the team. Well how long can they continue that sort of dominance game in and game out?
