The first pitch is the second AB was fastball dotted on the outside of the plate. Followed up with two sliders in the exact same spot. Nasty.

They can do random spot checks.

I saw MLB figured out sticky was getting on balls in other ways at the end of last season, so I think they're going to check quite often in the beginning of this season.
