This ump ufcking sucks.

no reason to have a human back there getting paid to miss calls & ruining the game for everyone. Bring on the robots.

Him running to first base on ball 3 reminds me of a crafty coach I once knew. When he had a runner on first and the count got to 2-0, they had a signal that if it got to ball 3, the batter would run down to first like it was a walk, and the runner from first would to the same thing going to second.

Non-smart teams would wait for the umpire to clear up that it was just 3-0, not a walk and the batter would come back home. That was about the time the team in the field would realize the runner on first had just stolen second without a throw.

Blue would have called it. He had to swing, his only hope was to foul it off.

Has the time come to get more serious about the electronic strike zone?

Pretty sure I saw this happen and the umpire called dead ball due to the batter intentionally delaying play. Not sure what the correct call is or what the rule is though. Any umpires in the house?

Unless I'm mistaken, this would be the second series win for the A's against a team with a winning record.

Maybe Click will follow the path of Toronto and consider it grounds for managerial termination.

Same coach had another trick up his sleeve for the dumb teams where if the other squad had a runner on third, he'd have the catcher fake pickoff throw down there. Third baseman would jump like it was over their head, shortstop would take off running after it, turning their back to the infield to give the illusion they were chasing the ball down, and left fielder would come sprinting in to affect the same thing. 2 of the 3 times I saw it in action, runner on third dove back, got up and sprinted home to get tagged out by the catcher.

I know hitting baseballs is hard, but I always get a little sad when MLB hitters miss 95 mph fastballs right in the middle of the plate

Absolutely inexcusable to lose a series to these bottom feeders. This team needs some major work at the deadline.

Just an awful series loss to go to the break…Lost both games b/c of a single inning of choking on it.

Lose three games in a week to the A's, including a series at home. Amazing stuff.

"Mariners aren't a threat" is about to look silly if the August swoon is still coming on top of this crap show. Seventeen straight games after the break and basically all against winning teams.

The A's, guys.

3-3 to a team that could lose 110. And about to have Seattle 9 back with that craptastic travel mess next week.

Nobody wanted to believe me when I said this series and next week was huge. Bigly level huge.

His reliance on JJ in late inning pinch hit situations is absolutely mesmerizing…JJ is more lost at the plate than Dusty is at making moves.

The loss of Alvarez has really neutered this offense.

And I don't expect Click to do anything on offense at the deadline. What you see is what you will get.

Trivino has a 6+ ERA and 2.0 WHIP and looked like Mariano against this joke of an offense twice.
