He is still walking a ton and has a 1.40 WHIP vs AAA hitters. I bet the organization want to see those numbers get under control firstBonnettecj1 said:
It makes sense for it to be Brown, no?
Seth Martinez is still here on the taxi squad. It's almost a given he'll be activated tomorrow. Only question now is how much the Astros run through their bullpen tonight (if the game continues). If it's suspended and there's a DH tomorrow, a 27th man would come up (another arm)

I feel terrible for the guy. For starters he had finally gotten his groove back and looked like the guy we thought we signed.W said:
that's probably it for 2022.
which means his player option & buyout won't escalate (I think)

And I'm sure he's not hurting for money, but IIRC he had some serious $ bonuses for reaching pretty pedestrian IP totals that he was likely to reach this season.
5 of Odo's 6 starts went 12+ outs this year... so that means he already maxed out his player option incentives for 2023Quote:
Contract Notes:
- 2023 player option includes a $3.25M buyout
Option escalates $2M & buyout increases $1M each for:
20, 25, 30 starts, or any game with 12+ outs, max $12.5M/$6.25M
