It's something you see again and again, and not only with young managers. It's like they feel the spotlight on them and if they don't do something (i.e. change pitchers) people will wonder "what is he doing, why isn't he MANAGING."

You saw it with Dave Roberts in '17, Joe Gerardi with the Yankees multiple times, and then Servais with the Mariners. It's what I really appreciate with Dusty, he doesn't feel like he has to make a move just because and leaving Verlander in the game was a perfect example.

Maldy is such a throwback. Love that dude.
