To be fair, our pitching staff is playing incredible baseball right now. Our bats have kinda left quite a bit to be desired, especially the top half of the order

The chance this series goes all 7 games is incredibly slim.

If they don't play today they'll just slide everything a day and when we win it early there will be no ramifications to the WS.

That's the entire year in a nutshell. Going to have to ride the staff to the finish line. Hopefully Schwarber, Hoskins, and Harper can be cooled off.

Wunderground weather app is decreasing the percentage in the 8pm hour. Was at 77% earlier, then 66% and now 60%. Storm seems to be passing through faster than originally expected

The resistance must be coming from the NYY side. We have Garcia and Urquidy to throw if the game has to be delayed after start. I don't think the yanks have the same luxuries in their BP...

We are averaging over 4 runs a game in the playoffs. While not stellar, it's plenty with ou pitching.

And that's with some slumpage going with otherwise proven hitters. It's very likely we see more production in the top of the order.

If the series goes 7 they would not know where game 1 of the World Series would be until less than 24 hours of it happening. Crazy that baseball would make a schedule where 1 rainout could do that.

That should be good to go in an hour. I'm thinking this game gets played tonight.

I don't think either team wants to deal with shuffling it. I don't think the Yanks wanted to risk losing Nestor with an early inning delay so they were being cautious.
