Being born in 1990, my knowledge of the 80s Astros playoff runs were limited to my dad's stories about one-game playoff pitching performances. I heard the announcer on Tuesday say that Yordan's HR was "the 10th walk-off in Astros postseason history." I could only remember 8 or so, so I did some research:

1. Denny Walling SF 1980 NLCS G3 1-0 11th
2. Alan Ashby HR 1981 NLDS G1 3-1 9th
3. Denny Walling 1B 1981 NLDS G2 1-0 11th
4. Bill Spiers 1B 1998 NLDS G2 5-4 9th
5. Jeff Kent HR 2004 ALCS G5 3-0 9th
6. Chris Burke HR 2005 ALDS G4 7-6 18th
7. Correa 2B 2017 ALCS G2 2-1 9th
8. Bregman 1B 2017 ALCS G5 13-12 10th

10. Altuve HR 2019 ALCS G6 6-4 9th

12. Yordan HR 2022 ALDS G1 8-7 9th

He was wrong (or I misheard), but this led me to look up that 1980 NLCS vs the Phillies. The Astros arrived in Philly hours before game 1 started due to the one-game playoff thr night before and lost on a game-winning 2R HR by Greg Luzinski - the only HR of the series. There were 4 extra inning games out of 5. The Phillies scored 20 total runs vs the Astros' 19. Wild!

For all the playoff warriors. Framber has a penchant for starting slow and then finding his groove. Don't freak out, don't burn down the house, he will have a great showing, even if the first is a little rocky.
