I believe that's who Valdez is crediting, someone on the Astros payroll. I read an article where Valdez was saying he had a hard time letting one misplay bother him (missing a spot on a pitch, error in the field behind him). Seems like the article mentioned that the Astros have someone on staff to help with any/all mental issues. Valdez supposedly continues to talk with the psychologist a couple times per week.
