This is just my opinion, but I think we all need to brace ourselves for a lot of "Correa is in talks with ____ team" reports. I think Boras has strategically waited this long to allow some of the other free agents to come off the table so he can try and drum up more interest and get bigger deals offered. He has a history of leaking things out to benefit his clients in negotiations. I hope he still ends up with the Astros, but it's gonna be a bumpy road to get there if I had to guess.

Starting to think Correa just doesn't want to go to spring training and he'll sign the week before the season starts.
Sort of like when Sean Jones of the Oilers would retire every summer so he didn't have to go to training camp.

Well if Correa elects to sign a contract with an opt out after one year he better get his ass to camp ASAP to get his timing down. A slow start to the season could be disastrous as far as getting his numbers up in case he wants to sign a massive new contract next year.

Chas McCormick got hit by a pitch during a scrimmage game; got hit square on the face guard. Told me that he’s fine and that the face guard of his helmet took the full brunt of the pitch. Stayed in the game and took a few more AB’s.
