Bryant earned the right to become a free agent and sign with the team of his choice. But did he not talk to Arenado or any of the other former Rockies who grew disillusioned in Colorado? Tremendous as Bryant’s contract is, how long before he becomes disillusioned, too?

I'm today's environment he knows he can just demand a trade in a year or two after putting up silly numbers in Coors. The Rockies eat $40M and he winds up on a contender while maximizing total $. Smart man.

They have the offense to get to the NLCS. Then it just depends on who the opponent is.
And yeah they didn't win the division, but they won 106 games and beat the team that finished above them in the NLDS.

2019 Astros were one of, if not the, greatest team ever assembled. B A S not to win it all that year. If I'm not mistaken, there was a metric put out that tied them with the '27 Yankees as the greatest team of all time.

I actually think we would match up best with the Dodgers in a potential World Series. We would hit their bullpen really well. It would be a lot of 7-6 type of games. Nobody in their pen is a bad matchup for our guys.
