Last night would have really hurt if I believed my franchise's ownership, front office, coaching staff and players actually cared about winning baseball games. Instead it's just another embarrassing loss, not much different than our typical 7-1 losses to Oakland.

Have heart, Arlington Rangers fans. After a tough year of baseball in your year old barndominium/juice-box clone hybrid , you have the Astros right where you want them. You've cultivated a just a butthair under 'significantly mediocre' season, which is like kryptonite to the significantly Super Astros. As you come to the stadium tomorrow, know that your patheticness will reek havoc on our ability to play, maybe because simply being in your weak presence is enough to inflict the necessary nausea to make each beloved Astro wonder if they have the Delta. Take heart in this fact. and also in the fact that on defense your back will be to the World Series Championship banner, something you don't have to worry seeing about in your normal, aluminum-sided park. Just when hitting, try not to stare at in awe. Keep your mind focused on the something-or-other trophy that you covet so dearly. Sorry I can't remember it's name. But it's important, I know. Yes. 11 straight L's, something like 98 straight innings of not even being ahead in a game, 25 games back in July and on pace for 105 losses. You boys are starting to take this tanking stuff serious.
