I know this isn't directed at me but I'm grumpy and not excited right now. A lot to be excited for about this season and even making it this far given our issues at SP and early bullpen issues before the trade deadline. I'm happy we're here but I am pissed were lifeless right now… just really disappointing knowing what we're capable of.helloimustbegoing said:

Pining for what could have been with Verlander is a waste of time. We had all year to get here without him. Losing Lance is a lot different, but we made it through Boston without him. Bottom line is both pitching and offense have been bad.

Yep. I'll take an AL championship any year. And this isn't like 2019 where we were clearly the best team all season and got upset. This was a very evenly matched series even with the Braves win total being down

They don't give a rats ass but will tell you different as no one wants to sign someone to their company if they can't bring in more revenue which means wins. They do just enough as you do at your job and nothing more.

This year was hard for me. Didn't have time or energy to watch many games but watched as many as I could and caught the YouTube highlights for the ones I missed. Never been more frustrated with a team I've followed. We win 100% on talent. If we have just an ounce of heart we'd be unstoppable. I'm really down on Bregman. His attitude seems awful. Correa isn't making me happy but he tries to be a leader. We really really miss Springer. I wish we'd paid him instead of Bregman. Leadership and energy are hard to replace.

Well, I guess Atlanta pitching is just that much better than Astros hitting. We have been absolutely awful at the plate this series and don't seem capable of doing anything about it.

True, but the offense slumped multiple times this year. Unfortunate timing but the lull shouldn't be that surprising.
