It's called bad coaching and even worse pitch selection by a catcher who needs to see the bench.
I'd rather have Tony Eusebio back there than Maldonado giving the other team meatballs.

Brantley should have been out because he missed 1st.
The umps have sucked for both sides tonight. I'm not going to blame an umpire for our pitcher leaving a 3-2 breaking ball over the middle of the plate
