I agree, this is what you need to do and plan to bring in Chas or Siri as a defensive replacement later in the game.
I also agree, but are you bringing in Chas or Siri in a close game we are winning or only if we have a healthy lead? In a close game, I don't see how you can sit any one of our three best offensive weapons, even if we are up by 1 going into the bottom of the ninth.

There's bound to be at least one blowout game where one of Chas or Siri get some extended time but I agree, I doubt either will see the field in any close games on the road. I just don't see how you can take the bat out of Alvarez, Tucker or Brantley's hands. I'm sure Dusty will try to save Diaz also to serve as the pinch hitter in the most important spot. Siri pinch running in the later innings is possible especially if Brantley gets on with no outs or something in the 8th or 9th.

With Morton out, and the Braves facing a potential bullpen game for games 4 & 5, tomorrow's game could make or break the Braves. Anderson has done well in the postseason this year, but has only gone 3, 4, and 5 innings in his three starts. If the Astros can get to him early, the Braves might not have any pitching left for the remaining homestand. If the offense is absent, Anderson could cover most of the game leaving the Braves with a fully stocked bullpen ready to go 18 innings.

and the other side of the equation...

the Braves have to start hitting the Astros bullpen if they want to win the series.

Dusty used 5 relievers in game one and 4 relievers in game two --- Atlanta only scored against one of them

I have a friend who wears a 1995 Braves World Series Championship ring every day. He's actively rooting for the Dusty and the Astros to win this. He loves Dusty.

Have any of our outfielders actually played a game in Atlanta? I dont know what their stadium even looks like or what the dimensions are in their outfield.

Looked back at the last few seasons, and holy damn, the last time we played there was in July 2017, which was 4 months after their stadium opened.

Dimensons:

Left field: 335 feet
Left-center field: 375 feet
Center field: 400 feet (deepest point is 402 feet)
Right-center field: 375 feet
Right field: 325 feet

Even more notable - in those two games, the Astros beat the **** out of the Braves.

July 4, 2017 - Astros 16, Braves 4
19 hits, scored in every inning but the 1st and the 8th, Jose was 3 for 5 with 2 R, 4 RBI.Correa was 1-for 2, Marwin was 2 for 4, Yuli was 3 for 5 with 4 RBI, and Bregman was 3 for 4 with 3 runs score

July 5, 2017 - Astros 10, Braves 4
16 hits, Altuve was 3 for 5 with 2 rusn scored, Marwin was 2 for 5 with 3 RBI, Yuli was 2 for 5, and Bregman was 1 for 4.

I went to a game the night before we played at Clemson two years ago.

Symmetrical park for the most part...I don't remember any nooks or crannies that would give any odd bounces which probably helps if we are going to trot out our best offense/weaker defense outfield of Alvarez/Tucker/Brantley.

If it's going to be chilly and damp, the ball should not carry real well...although the park is oriented NW/SE so a north wind would be blowing out, especially to right. .

Edit...just checked the forecast for tomorrow night...says a west wind...so that would be blowing more from RF to LF.

Pushing games back helps Atlanta in the short term. They could possibly avoid a second bull pen game in game 5. However that means they are stuck with a pen game in game 7 if it gets that far.

They would be having Chief Wahoo McDaniel, Sitting Bull and Pocahantas all doing rain dances if they could.

I'm already 110% believing we won those trades. Neither straw or Toro would likely have been major contributors in this postseason. With Straw on the roster we likely wouldn't have had Jake or Siri called up.
