I would just time it to get to DT around 5:50 and be driving by a street parking spot at 6pm on the dot and park a block or 2 away from MM. Sit there while you watch ticket prices.texasaggie2015 said:
I'm thinking about heading straight Ninfas when I get off work at 5. Sit at the bar, watch ticket prices, see if any plummet. If they do, pull the trigger and hop on the shuttle. If they don't, finish my marg and head home in time to watch.
My only concern is Ninfas being absolutely packed by the time I get there around 5:30.
We seem to do better at away stadiums.bearkatag15 said:📍: Minute Maid Park

For all the hemming and hawing we did (me included) about this prospect, I bet the fans in the stands will be hyped up about it.
Looks like he ended up having a forearm strain and was shelved until October 3rd where he had an outing with one of their minor league teams. He could be extremely rustyagdaddy04 said:Interesting. Started 4 games this year, but hasn't pitched for them since June when he gave up 5 in 5 against the Bo Sox.bearkatag15 said:Tucker Davidson will replace Charlie Morton. Atlanta has so many left handed pitchers on this roster.

Some number on his pitches:Quote:
Max Fried
Atlanta Braves
Pitch Repertoire At-A-Glance
Max Fried has thrown 7,370 pitches that have been tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2017 and 2021, all of them occuring in the MLB Regular Season. In 2021, he has relied primarily on his Fourseam Fastball (94mph), Curve (74mph) and Slider (85mph), also mixing in a Sinker (93mph). He also rarely throws a Change (85mph).
In 2021, compared to other LHP:
His fourseam fastball has heavy sinking action, is a real worm killer that generates an extreme number of groundballs compared to other pitchers' fourseamers, is straight as an arrow and has well above average velo. His curve has an exceptional bite, has slight glove-side movement and has slightly below average velo. His slider has short glove-side cut, results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders and has some two-plane movement. His sinker generates a high number of swings & misses compared to other pitchers' sinkers, has surprisingly little armside run, results in many more groundballs compared to other pitchers' sinkers, has well above average velo and has some natural sinking action. His change dives down out of the zone, generates more whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' changeups, results in many more groundballs compared to other pitchers' changeups and is slightly firmer than usual.

Siri gets the start which is a good move. No other changes.
Jake Odorizzi said he hopes to be “good to go” by either Game 3 or Game 4 in Atlanta.

It's not that I mind that the roof is open it's that it came by order of the commissioner.
He shouldn't have any say in whether a franchise decides to close the roof.
That's like him having a say in who's on the roster or who bats where or how quick the infield grass is or how slow the infield dirt is.
Odorizzi: “After the game last night, you would have thought it was a May 2nd loss. It wasn't like it was a World Series loss. That's why I appreciate this team and the leadership on this team because they definitely know how to handle adverse moments.”

Where does it say it came by his order? If you listen to the interview from yesterday he just states he thinks it will be open based on the weather forecast.
