Getting an extra base means nothing. Ending the inning does. You don't end the inning.
Y'all ***** about effort, then Yuli gives it and forces an absolutely perfect play from the defense to get him out.

It absolutely means something from the part of the order that was up. Chas is after Yuli and then Castro. A single from Chas scores Yuli, which is much more likely than stringing together two hits off of Matzek.

Again, Yuli forced the defense to make an absolutely perfect play, and they did.

I like our chances to get 2 wins in Atlanta particularly with the Morton injury. Gotta win tomorrow. Just need our bats to do anything. As bad as Framber was this game was very winnable at points (**** maybe it still is). We were Just the opposite of clutch today.

Come on guys this is only the first game of the World Series! It's obvious that the Braves have had their fair share of breaks and we can't catch one. I've been around baseball for a very long time and things have a way of evening out. Have faith in the Stros - the Series may go seven but I'm confident that we got this.

A topic for after this series but (potentially) without Carlos, post-George, and with a subdued Bregman; this has to be addressed. Brantley, Yordan, and Tucker can swing the bat but are not vocal leaders that are going to drag the rest forward. Even now when Carlos isn't hitting, the dugout feels flat.

Solid outing but glimpses of a Raley blowup.

In the lead, use him situationally and sparingly.

Stros win Game 2, take 2 of 3 there and win it in Game 6. Just a feeling.

Bad Framber started the game but then Jake Odorizzi mowed them down.

No comparison with the '19 series, and they just lost their best starter.
