Spot on. I've been saying this all season. He used to be the ****-talking, high-energy, arrogant player that wouldn't back down from anyone. Always felt like he Carlos and Springer were the energy of the team.

Now he just always looks/sounds/plays without any juice or spark. It's bizarre. Frank Thomas and A-Rod both mentioned last week when we were in Boston as they watched a clip from one of his interviews. They couldn't believe how different he sounds the past couple years
he got engaged.

You could tell Altuve just wasn't mentally prepared for tonight.

2 Ks looking, an error (albeit with one nice play), and one of the worst ABs/swings of the entire season in a huge moment

For tonight? He's been absent since the beginning of the ALCS. Only had two meaningful hits. He is trying his best to be worse than Maldy average wise.
