I almost brought up the injury in my post. With that said, his stats for last season (non-injury) are worse than this season. He mentioned something to Papi and A-rod about not having his swing right now, so I think it is a little more than contract related. It's hard to be confident when you just don't have it at the moment. Hoping he figures it out.

Something mechanical. After the visit by Strom he seemed to settle down a little and then the next top of the inning was off again

Maybe…. I think Framber wasn't keeping his 2 seamer down in the zone and he was getting behind a few batters. Several of those hits were just dumb luck away from the shift too
