goodness, yes a lot more expensive so far in Atlanta. we'll see how many tickets they release tomorrow but it probably won't be enough to bring down prices. Will probably sit this one out.

Yeah, like I said, for the most part he's owned us. Lol.

Yeah, Atlanta is like us in 2017 - first time back in the series after a long drought... Prices are going to be insane for those games. Especially if they steal one in Houston.

Regarding the OF alignment when in ATL, to me the only options are:

7-Yordan
8-Tucker
9-Brantley

or

7-Yordan
8-McCormick/Meyers
9-Tucker

Yordan on the bench should never happen.

It was that way in Washington in 2019 as well. Their tickets were like double what was being paid at Minute Maid if I remember correctly.

Went to game 3 in '17, moved away from Texas in '19 so didn't go to a WS game that year. Really wanting to make the trip, maybe even to Atlanta this year.

Anyone buy tix to game 3 or 4 yet?
Didn't buy for those games, but in trying to buy for 1 and 2 I noticed it was significantly more expensive for the games in Atlanta. Not sure if it's because those games are on the weekend or if it's because the world series has been in Houston 4 of the last 16 years so many people have already "been there done that". Guessing it is probably some combo of the 2
I got into the presale in Atlanta and they had some upper deck pairs going for 800/each + fees. Weird setup through ticketmaster

Selling 2 SRO Tickets to Game 1. Stub hub takes such a large cut of fees. $400 a ticket. PM if interested.

If anybody has a single seat for tomorrow night, I'm interested. I'm not interested in paying seat geek or stub hub service fees but I'll buy one off of you fine folks. I can't do SRO (long story).

Yep. Prices are nuts but have been steadily coming down.

We had a large credit from back-to back missed games (game 5 ALDS cancelled, game 7 ALCS cancelled, 120% credit on each)… so we just rolled that into WS tickets. Managed to snag a few first level tickets as soon as they surprisingly popped up for well under market. Most of the lower level is about 11-1200 after fees.

But upper level tickets can be had for like 600-650, which is worth it over SRO to me.

If anyone wants to do a good deed and give a ticket away I'll gladly help with that. Think of all the good karma that will come your way.

3,900 tickets on Stubhub right now. I'd wager they're still going to come down pretty significantly.

I did SRO during ALDS (2018) and that was great because we got the stools in front of Torchy's.

I did SRO during ALCS (2018) and it was awful because the stools were removed for unintelligible reasons. I swore no more SRO after that.

talk about lazy reporting. Tampa went 48-43 vs teams over .500. the astros went 45-32 vs teams over .500.

They definitely will, just wait until tomorrow when re-sellers start to get scared they are going to be stuck with nearly a grand in ticket costs.

I took a little trip down memory lane today. My feeling going into this series is the Braves are similar to the Nationals in 2019.

I wanted to see what we were talking about and how we felt leading into that series so I visited the 2019 thread...

The Brandon Taubman story broke the day before that series. Wow, the beginning of misery, that was the first of the massive negative media blitz we would start to get.

Good news is we made it through our AL Pennant celebration cleanly this time.

If anyone is interested in buying or selling tickets I recommend checking out the Astros Ticket Buy and Sell group on Facebook.

This also goes for regular season games as well. It's an overall good group and it may get you around paying for fees and crap.

Even the Astros website has been raising prices. I bought a ticket in the 400s from $300 just last week. Today that 400 level ticket was $419 before taxes! The $419 was sect 416 row 13, the $300 was sect 418 row 12.

These are for game 6

I don't think so. I was able to sell some uppers to game 2 in 2017 for $850/ea.
