My best friend since Kindergarten is a Braves fan. I rooted for them last night but today, we are enemies… Bring on the hate!

He reiterated today that Smith makes him nervous, and a guy named Luke Jackson.

Yesterday he said 4 would be bullpen.

Over 8 career games vs Houston he's 1-4 with a 5.40 ERA

Castro is not starting any games at catcher. It's obvious based on Dusty's comments that he's a pinch hit / late game option only.

Will Smith is the closer and he has had his moments, but has been able to get it done when it has mattered.

Luke Jackson is the normal set up man in the 8th and has been very good in the post season, until he had a rough 8th inning in Game 3 in LA that carried over to last night's game.

Yea, was hoping he would bounce back and have a good outing, but I think long Chris Taylor double got to him.

Maybe should have pitched him an inning in Game 4 after it got out of hand in a more low pressure situation.

Either way, for the Braves to have a shot at winning, Jackson is going to have to pitch better than his last two outings.

C John Chavis (the son of our old DC) is a big Braves fan and we go back and forth on twitter from time to time. He's not a big fan of Will Smith to say the least.

He had some control issues earlier in the year and got sent back to the minors for a stint, but has been pretty solid. He was money last night.

That's how busting balls works. You're supposed to have a good enough friendship and thick enough skin to laugh about it and give it right back. With Gardner there's plenty to make fun of - it wouldn't have been hard. He underestimated how a high-strung whiny tenor like Cole would react.

Yep. If you are going to do this you damn well better make sure the other guy isn't going to go nuclear. And Coke strikes me as the kind of guy who would take it badly. Especially since it seems to be responsible for his stardom. Sounds to like the Yankees clubhouse wasn't exactly lovey dovey to start with.
