SROs for 2017 were $150 I believe. Sold one for $800 on game day.

I think being our first WS in a long time made that a mad dash to get in. Selling post season tickets this season, it's just not as rabid. Maybe the WS bucks the trend of the other games but all post season series in 17 and 18 and 19 sold way over face and fast. Not this year.

probably the weakest world series patch recently. I like the older ones that involve gold and the trophy

That kind of sucks.

That being said, I hope the Astros get those on their jerseys.

Upper decker seats face value is $275.

Pretty steep!

Correas's contract won't pay for itself!

World Series will buck the trend. Problem with the ALDS games were they were in the afternoon. Astros have been in five straight ALCS, so demand won't be high although tomorrow's game in the lower level is selling 2x face in many cases. I sold two tomorrow for $425 and paid $209 for each after fees.

One thing to keep in mind beyond it being the World Series, the Texans and Rockets are both not even worth spending money on so people either have disposable income on a winner or are willing to spend more considering they won't spend money on those two teams the rest of this year and next.

Really hoping Astros take care of business Friday night so we can enjoy Aggies Saturday night.

I wonder if it has to do with the supply chain issues that they cited for not even having postseason patches this year?

So a "unbiased national baseball journalist" seems to be implying that, while a mysterious light coming from an outfield bar is not suspicious, someone whistling (as the pitcher is throwing the ball) is proof the Astros are cheating? C'mon man, at least pretend to have some integrity.........

Yep. I'll be at Kyle field Saturday night and really don't want to do double duty.

Not at all a fan of Carrabas, but he's never claimed to be an unbiased national baseball journalist. He lets his love for the Red Sox be known.

It's the first line of his Twitter bio and he makes that claim regularly on Twitter over tweets and on his podcasts. However it's more of a joke at this point.

Anything Barstool is not even loosely associated with integrity.

They're more TMZ and The Chive than they are sports journalism.

I think the real question is why did we only employ our elaborate on-the-road sign stealing method for Yordan. It's obvious that we're cheating, but it's really unfair to the guys that went 0-fer at the plate like Bregman and Correa.

I'd take 5 innings and throw it to our well rested BP.

Would be a nice time for our offense to make some moves early.

Agree. Hopefully LG can get through the lineup twice and minimize any damage, along with our offense keeping stride. I've got confidence in our BP to close as well as our offense for late-inning clutch hits/scoring.

Me neither. I will keep trying - it worked out for me last time for Game 7. Got great tickets that day through the Ballpark app... hoping for the same luck!

Carrabis says stuff all the time to get under people's skin, and it works. He's damn good at it. He's also a really good follow for MLB stuff.

He doesn't hate the Astros, he only hates the Yankees and whoever Boston is playing at the time. He's actually been extremely complimentary of the Astros this season.

He also called the Braves making the WS back in March

Oh he definitely hates the Astros... just not as much as the Yankees. He absolutely loathes Correa. I think he would legitimately wish death upon Carlos.

keep checking the astros website for tix, they always hold back some inventory for various reasons and release them for sale as the game gets closer

This is going to be a 'duh, obviously' post, but really I'd be pretty happy if Garcia just throws strikes and we see what happens. In game two 3 of the 8 runs on the grand slams were walks by Garcia.

Framber was obviously on some other plane of existence last night, but from the start I liked that he was throwing strikes and at least making the Red Sox get hits. Basically every Red Sox rally in this series has been set off by or involved a walk.

We've had some rallies helped by walks also, but I'd at least like to see Garcia make the Red Sox get hits to get guys on base.

Oh yeah, dude HATES Correa. But he LOVES Yordan. I follow him on Twitter and really have never seen him say anything bad about the Astros this season outside of this series.

Barstool is fun but it's definitely used to be frat guys and that type of mentality/humor

I enjoy a lot of their stuff but it's ALOT of east coast bias

Nah not at all for what it is.

Just like Barstool.

It's fun and entertaining but it's not high integrity journalism or anything.
