We've scored enough runs to win every game this postseason with the exception of maybe last night. The lineup hasn't really been the problem, it's the pitching. That being said, I do agree I'd rather see Castro. But if we give up 9 going into the 4th again today, not like it matters.

Win tonight and the entire series changes. Pressure back on the Red Sox to win game 5.

They need to take Jake off he roster. He's wasting a space if he cant play. I get you lose him for the next series too but you need pitchers now and thats more important.

He neutralizes the running game- the Boston Red Sox stole stole 40 bases this year. Yes, that is one every FOUR GAMES. This was 29th in the league. They don't have a running game to neutralize.

The Pitchers love him- I wrote about this in the ALDS. I don't CARE if they love throwing to Maldonado.

There are THREE Astros pitchers that have a lower OPS throwing to Maldonado than they do Castro- THREE!! Those are Odorizzi (who is not pitching in Game 4), McCullers (who is not on the ALCS roster), and Taylor.

Greinke has an OPS of 0.746 throwing to Maldonado and 0.521 throwing to Castro. Which do you want? Before you argue the limited PA of Greinke throwing to Castro- YES. That is why it was idiotic to not have him throw to Castro more all season. He SUCKED throwing to Maldy- try something else.

Javier- the one who if things go right should pitch the longest tonight. OPS 0.707 to Maldy and 0.581 to Castro.

NINE of the Astros ALCS pitchers were ~0.1 OPS or more better to Castro than Maldy- NINE.

They may love to throw to Maldy more, but they do better throwing to Castro.

• Castro 0.917
• Maldonado 0.533

I asked him whether he thought it was more likely that Alex Cora had a road-to-Damascus conversion on the way from Houston to Boston and vowed to always do good right after he won a World Series with a cheating scheme, or if the Red Sox just benefitted from nobody ratting them out and the players not confessing. As you saw, he didn't answer the question, but did read the whole thing and seemed pretty mad.

Not sure why you're worried about having the email up. I can assure you the guy couldn't care less.

Sorry, but the bleeding going on after the lineup was released was just pathetic. I actually looked it over like 10 times to see what I was missing, because , apparently, "it was maddening".

Just a week ago, we called that exact same lineup "The lineup of death" and now Dusty is an idiot for rolling it out there..

Never change, Texags.

Not to mention that it's obvious to anyone with eyes that the issue is pitching and not the lineup.
