I thought Dusty managed his pen way better than Cora who was trying too hard to go L/R matchup and that finally bit him.

I was screaming in the 6th? 7th? When there was an open base with Kik.e at the plate. He ended striking out. I would have walked him in a heartbeat. That was I thought the only mistake n

The plate ump started out tight and consistent but the zone got taller and wider as the game progressed. Both teams were hacking a little late in the game.

Obviously the ball boy thing didn't effect the outcome last night but it's possible we need to rethink ballboy location down the third base line. I think it was ALDS gm 2 in 2019 against Tampa that the kid sitting there potentially cost us a run.

2. The change in direction of the ball after the hit actually helped them. Big man was running and had to stop and pivot. He is not that agile and that couple of seconds was huge in moving runners.

3. Whoever this guy is we know he is from Boston. He probably spent to much time at Oktober fest with his cousin, struck out and is now looking for anything he can to hold onto hope that he will have a better day today. We should really feel for him and reach out with help as needed.

No, could he have hustled and maybe beat it...Yes. It looked to from the beginning to be a typical inning ending double play. The fact that they both bobbled it made it look a lot closer than it should have ever been.

Agreed. I think he can run if needed, but is very selective where needed. Sure, would've been nice to beat that out. But not sure I'd take the trade of busting ass to beat the throw to give us another at bat vs no more Brantley. We were already up 2 going into the 9th

So I got into a debate with a buddy about Correa and his pimping HRs. He was bltching that he doesn't like it at all and he's a showboat who's all about himself beating his chest yelling my time my time. Said...Could you imagine Bigg or Bags talking shlt like that?

I said I don't mind it. That's how the kids play and if he's backing it up then what's the big deal. He brings the fire and passion we need.

Plus while Biggio and Bagwell we're great in their own right they were chokers when the lights were bright. I even went so far to say that there were plenty times it would've been nice for those two show some passion and balls and fire up their team.

They caved to the pressure and Correa thrives off it. Pimp away young man!!!

It started when he ripped the tits off Rodon after he was beating his chest.

Thought it was always a response to that like him saying it's my time to beat my chest.

WGAF really...It's fire and it gets our guys. Correa is a nothing but a great teammate and leader. He's never had a rep for being a me first guy.

And when you play in the playoffs like he does who's gonna argue that it's not his time.

I love the energy he brings.

And as much as I love Altuve, he's not the vocal leader this team needs. And I love Bregman, but outside of 2017 he hasn't been clutch enough. This team needs Correa.
