Stack the righties (4 of the top 5) so if Sale tries to go thru the lineup a 3rd time, he doesn't get a likely easy out in Brantley. But you still have the lefties split up enough that a lefty specialist doesn't get an easy inning.

Altuve and Bregman both have had a ton of success against Sale.

it's not a video game. You don't move a guy who hit 2nd for 166 games and came in runner up for the batting title to the 8-hole at the most important time of the season.

What you're saying makes sense in a vacuum but these are humans and I'm sure Uncle Mike would take it like a champ, but you've got to ride the horse that got you there.

I saw multiple of yall discussing pricing earlier and to each their own but it is asinine to me what people are willing to spend to watch sporting events. I mean I get it that im maybe in a smaller camp than others but I believe regular season games are too expensive in the first place.

Now I get it that there are affordable tickets to be had but I dont want to sit in the upper decks. I also dont want to try and just hang out and see what shows up moments before game time, that might work for some but my life revolves around a plan.

In order to go to a regular season game you've got to leave by 4:30-5 drive in traffic, pay to park, then the walk to the stadium, security lines, because of what time you had to leave most likely youll need to buy food, then a fer drinks, game ends to it all in reverse and maybe you're home by 10:45-11

orrrrr I could just sit on my couch, eat the wifes fresh meal, drink cold refrigerator beer and watch all 162 seeing every moment of every play, replays, Blummer and TK etc etc

multiply all of that exponentially for playoff games. Side note, im also not a huge fan of concerts and especially music festivals

Man, I get what you're saying about being "comfortable" at home watching the game. But for some it's such a rush to actually be there and be in the environment. I've spent a lot of money traveling to see A&M games. I've spent a decent amount on Astros postseason tickets in the past, but luckily also had company tickets I could use for many games. I'm sad a little now because I live in Colorado and it's just not feasible to make it to a game right now.

I mean, the dude ( Farmer ) just made the wildest change ever to a pretty established lineup and then implies Dusty is too over the hill to see how his lineup is obviously better - and it got 4 stars.

Literally ZERO managers would do what was suggested.

Farmer is a smart guy that usually makes good & statistically-driven posts, and everyone hates Dusty so Farmer saying "Dusty sucks" is good for 5 to 10 stars every time regardless of content.

Also I'm pretty sure at least one person on the thread (including me on occasion) has criticized every lineup this season and it got us 95 wins and a 5th straight ALCS, so let's not stop now.
