Go with what MLB would implement in a Game 163 tie-breaker scenario: The team in each league with the best record gets to choose A, B, C, or D designation; A would play the wild card winner (D), and the other two division winners (B & C) would face each other. In other words, The best team could chose to face another division winner or the wild card winner.

I thought umpires only got one postseason assignment per year. After that, they were done.

That would be a bit dumb if they did because there are only so many good umps. So you're probably right b/c of course mlb.

Still irritated how bad that game 3 guy was and if we wouldn't have lost that game, Lance would still be with us.

I think they have to skip a round, so if they crewed an ALDS/NLDS series, they are eligible to crew a WS.

Quite the stretch

I'm not saying I think we win that game b/c we did lose
by 6, but that non called third strike was a huge missed call. Turned into a two run homer and then the three run homer when there should have already been three outs. Not to mention all the generous strikes called on our hitters.

Pretty easy to link a lot of runs to that umps call.

Absolutely, but you're using a bit of selected memory. Yordan was in a 3-2 count and that exact pitch was called a ball on him. If I'm not mis-remembering that started our first rally that led to 3 runs.

The biggest gripe is absolutely the cluster **** of the play with non runners interference, though.

$129 for the top of the stadium. That's not to include higher pricing for parking and how much you will spend at the game. It prices a lot of fans out. I could easily 2 people running up to $400 for the game.

Eh kinda. Wasn't exact same pitch, it was a breaking ball that kinda dropped across the top, k-zone had the zone split across the zone (was the 2-2 pitch btw). These don't get called all that often. Wainright said he wanted that and AJ said it was too high. That ended up leading to 1 run. We didn't score any runs with two outs.

The other pitch was a fastball completely in the k-zone and actually was down and in from where Maldy sat up, so it got framed really well.

I'm definitely a play better and the the umps won't matter kind of guy. That was just a very irritating sequence in that inning that could have been called differently creating a completely different outcome.
