That's interesting. I've often though about position players providing a bit of extra tack during mound visits. Is the idea with the catcher that he's tacking the ball before he throws it back?
Correct.

I'm just ready to get this started. I don't like sitting around waiting.
Man, I really hope we can win today.
Carlos Correa (@TeamCJCorrea) on he, Alex Bregman (@ABREG_1), @JoseAltuve27 and Yuli Gurriel (@el_yuly10) have played in more postseason games together than any other four teammates in MLB history: “That’s pretty special. I wasn’t paying attention and I look up and Dusty’s pointing at me and the security guard next to him gives me these. That’s one of the coolest things that’s ever happened to me at a game

Sources: MLB clubs have been informed that the qualifying offer for free agents this winter is set at $18.4 million. That's down slightly from $18.9 million QO of last winter. Free agents extended a QO will accept or reject before the expiration of the current CBA Dec. 1.

I think we should start Diaz today in "LF" but mainly just use him as a 5th infielder. Let Chas and TED cover the couple of non ground balls. What y'all think? Too bold?

Who does he replace, Yordan or Brantley?

Doesn't matter. Sox can't put the ball in the air.
Unless we have a 5 run lead, I agree.BCEDAg said:
Dusty I have only one suggestion- please do not put Yimi Garcia in another game this season. Please!!!!

Interesting question - Does our BP change for an ALCS (assuming we win)? Do we trust that Garcia is a starter for us?
Im wondering if we don't shift to some sort of combo of:
LMJ
Framber
Urquidy
Grienke/Garcia
I know Greinke has had struggles towards the end but he did his job in the one inning he ptiched and most importantly, he has the veteran presence and confidence to start. I'm conflicted on what it should look like and am not sold on Greinke or against Garcia...

Nice blanket of clouds over Chicago today for the #Astros game. Bit of a gusty wind blowing from right to left field at GUARANTEED RATE Field. Temps in the 60s. Autumn baseball, y'all. A great day to clinch. #ForTheH pic.twitter.com/xPuNJ4h9nF
