With the majority of folks consuming on mobile now, I imagine it's going to be more people filming and watching in portrait mode - not less.

1. The Astros certainly made a statement with a dominant four-game sweep of the A's in Oakland. Facing a chorus of boos and sounds of banging garbage cans from the Oakland fans, the Astros won 8-1, 9-5, 9-1 and 9-2. They hit .320/.398/.565 with eight home runs and 12 doubles, becoming just the fourth team to begin a season with at least eight runs in each of its first four games (1978 Brewers, 1995 Red Sox, 2003 Yankees).

Several years ago, the Astros went to a plan for 2 starters per game (each going 4 innings or so) in the minor leagues. It allowed them to develop more starting arms and evaluate more starters.. Maybe it was the plan in the majors all along, I don't know.

But it isn't new to the organization.

Bought two tickets but then my girlfriends dad just called and told me he was taking me to the game. So I'm selling the ones I bought. Figured I'd put them on here before stub hub. Got them for $30 each ($41 with fees) so just trying to get the money back without fees. Any takers at $30 each? Behind right field fence down the line.

Like seriously...Don't shag balls, don't take grounders, don't run out grounders, hell don't even round the bases. Just mash. That's your job. To murder baseballs.

Wow that's really interesting, especially the LMJ part. I wonder if our willingness to open the checkbook for him is because we think he's going to break out in a big way this year. Adding a quality, can-throw-for-strikes slider to go along with his current repertoire of pitches could be devastating for opposing hitters.
