I don't disagree that maybin is better than straw. I just think if you're making a move it should be for someone who's actually an everyday centerfielder. Maybin is simply a better backup/defensive substitute

That swing and grounder was a direct result of the bad strike call. The pitch was in the same place so MB had to cover it.

He's one that after beating the sips (Barash's walk off home run?) was immortalized doing the horns down. He didn't have a clear direction into the rotation and going JuCo meant he would be draft eligible faster. I don't remember his situation specifically, so I could be slightly off base.
