I hope we DH Yordan for the last two games and play Diaz in RF. That is our strongest lineup and allows Yordan time to get extra prep in the dugout during the defensive half of innings watching the Ipad.

The @astros received a breakout game from catcher Martín Maldonado tonight.

I wouldn't. Tucker can more than handle CF and Diaz is a much better hitter than those guys combined.tjack16 said:GoodBullShark said:

I'd rather have Siri or Chas in CF, Tucker in RF

I can't get enough of maldys bases loaded AB vs minter. He wants to bury the cutter in on righties so he just stood in the plate and dared him to go inside and hit him.
Freaking fantastic
I hope to God you are right. I keep seeing people say this but I truly hope you are right3B Paul 97 said:
Law of averages about to kick in. Altuve, Correa, Bergman and Alverez about to have great games in 6&7.

I'm so glad Maldy got on the board last night, he needed that game. His walk against Minter, standing on top of the plate, is the strategy and psychological warfare I love about baseball. The @astros received a breakout game from catcher Martín Maldonado tonight.

Urquidy winning 3 games in WS is going to push him over the top.
Yordan will go back to DH, Brantley back to left, and Tucker back to right. Insert Siri or Chas in center for the best defensive OF possible. Diaz doesn't provide enough boost at the plate or in the field over Siri/Chas to warrant being in the line up, imo.GoodBullShark said:

personally, with the way Chas has looked vs sliders, I don't really want him in there. Not that Siri has necessarily been the face of success...but I think the speed factor puts him over the top. The only caveat, for me, is if you want to hold him back for a late inning pinch-run scenario.Mathguy64 said:
So the question of the day is Siri or McCormick in CF. I wonder of Dusty goes with Siri for the sheer ability to wreck havoc on the bases if he gets on. d'Arnaud has shown he is fully capable of turning a SB attempt into two bases.
I think you have to go with Siri just based on the positive energy he gives this team. We are going to need it these next 2 games.Mathguy64 said:

except just putting the ball in play puts pressure on the defense, too. Altuve's speed rushed Mr private school into an error. Siri can do the exact same thingagdaddy04 said:
Siri only matters on the bases if he can get on. That's why I think you save him for a good PR opportunity.
But he is a threat to beat out anything on the ground. We all saw Swanson give the Roger Dorn special last night. The Braves are going to be pressing on the road trying to clinch. Plus any fastball mistake, Siri can hit 500 feet.agdaddy04 said:

I loudly informed everyone at the Halloween party that Maldy need to fake bunt on that pitch to draw the walk.j_davis01 said:redline248 said:That was one of the most elite plate appearances I've ever seen. Minter was completely out of sortsMosesHallRAB04 said:

And then as another stroke of genius, the guy shows bunt with 3 balls too, while basically standing on the plate! Legend!
