I love this team.
Crane has to do whatever it takes to keep Carlos. I don't care if he gets hurt quite a bit. If we get to October, he will be healthy for it. It's his time. He's a leader. He and Altuve are the heart and brain of this team. Bregman is the soul. Crane needs to keep this group together.

I also believe him saying that is to just put kore pressure on Crane. Everything he has said has been around him staying here. Springer wanted out and you could see the writing with Cole all year. Carlos has been the complete opposite with his words.

Never really a real thing…and not like he's not gonna go to Cali or NY due to COL
They want the big contract and want to feel wanted.
They also pay taxes to every state in which they earn an income that year (wherever the away games are).

I get what you're saying but Carlos has actually admitted it and that's not typical. Also 89 games in Texas where there's no income tax makes a pretty big difference

Carlos already said 350M in an expensive state was like 275M in TX, I feel like if we get close to the latter number he'd sign
