When Hatcher hit that home run I was convinced the first Houston championship was undeniable. God, I still hate the '86 Mets so much. I remember the first time I had a video game that had the '86 Mets and '86 Astros available. I threw at Dykstra, Hernandez, Carter, and Strawberry in the first inning to get out the latent trauma.

Webb was getting in some trouble and he is the type that goes to his bullpen a lot I feel like. Obviously he won't now that he got out of it but if that last batter got on I think he would be getting someone warm.

I hopped on MLB.com earlier today and found two tickets in club level 1st base line for $241/ea so snagged them. They actually had a decent number of lower level tickets too in the sections behind the dug outs. I was shocked to see them. The other day all they had were the nose bleeds.

Well that's my point.

$500+ to go see a baseball game that's not a WS game is ridiculous to me.

I did it in 2017 when we went to games in each of the playoff series but I think I'm still paying it off.

It prices a lot of people out and that's why there's tickets available.

I try to make every single for series, at least one game. The last postseason series I missed was the '17 WS because I didn't get selected and couldn't stomach dropping a grand for a ticket. Before that it was the 05 WS, but i went to the rest of 05 and 04. I was able to get tickets for ~176 in the lower level this series. Not great but not a ripoff.

I went to just about every game during the '17 WS run. Would go to Jackson st bbq, eat and drink, pull up stubhub and buy when prices plummeted

Guess it's all about perspective. I thought they were reasonably priced especially for Club Level.

I get it prices a lot of folks out, but I just checked again and all of those tickets from earlier are long gone. Going to an ALCS is quite rare so gotta go when the opportunity is there.

If we would have had a closer we would have. Dave Smith had 9.00 ERA that series and blown save in both 3 &6.

2.56 career ERA and dude ****ed us twice in series.

I've gone to 1 game in each series in '17, '18 and '19 except the WS games. I went to game 4 of the '05 WS but I got that ticket for face value.

He was great in the regular season, but you've got to remember the Mets had an all-time great lineup. Two HOFers in Carter and Hernandez and the best young power hitter of the day along with some salty pain-in-the-ass vets like Backman, Dykstra, Mookie, and Ray Knight.

Plus I think Hatcher was playing way in on a ball in the 9th and it went over his head for a triple.

Stuck with Knepper too long. Should have brought Smith in to start the inning.

That is something that Roberts will have to deal with in later innings if Urias is dealing. Runners on in a tie game and Urias is up to bat in the 6th inning. Does he pinch hit him or let him hit? Easier decision if you have your full bullpen still and Urias already got you 5 or 6 innings.
Urias' next AB will likely be sometime in the 8th inning. I assume Roberts will pinch hit for him no matter what (unless its 0 on with 2 outs and they have a lead)
