I've said it before. Since that rain out in Detroit we have been completely average. How average? wRC+ of 104. Our offensive WAR is 16th in the league. We rank 16th in BA, and in SLG and in OBA. We are 15th in RBI and 23rd in HR. It goes on and on.

I suspect pulling Garcia was based on 1. Hosmer has hit him well today and 2. He's way beyond the IP level that he has ever been at in his career. They have to be watching that very carefully at this point.

Heck, I can even see if he was nibbling and not getting calls. But quite often, all 4 pitches are no where close. And this isn't specific to Taylor---seems like quite a few RPs around the league have the same issue.

Luckily a great defensive play and a lineout gets him out of the inning.
