That is a very big point. And JV was a massive part of getting to that Series.

The one Baggy went to he wasn't around until the Series and only to DH.

How many of the Twitter Tuesday fans saw Bagwell play in person in his last good season (39HR and 100 RBI) in 2003 when they were over the age of 10? That was the 17 years ago so those people would be at the youngest 27.

Yeah but if right now we could make a trade for a HOFer that played a few seasons at the tail end of his career with us and won a WS or got a lifer HOFer that...and I love Bagwell but this is a fact...sucked in the playoffs and never won a ring, which trade would you want to make?

He had a few good games in a row recently. Think he saved both games in the Oakland double-header. But, I would not say he has been what he was before the injury to this point.

That's what I'm thinking.

I don't remember him being very good after he came back last year.

And he certainly hasn't been very sharp this year except a handful of outings.
