Nor do I understand the broadcasts k zone. No way that was a strike. Yet it showed it was. He caught it behind Diaz.
Just can't get the clutch hit we need from the bottom of the lineup.
Oddly enough, Reddick and Maldy have been decent at the bottom of the lineup, but seems like the 7 hole has been an automatic out.

I think the bigger issue is we can't get a hit out of Bregman with men on base.
They have gotten every single break and bloop. If they were evenly distributed we would have already wrapped this series up.

I have to give the Rays scouting dept some credit for knowing and placing their defenders in line of every pitch we hit.
Not sure I have ever seen this many called check strikes. It's like the decided to make a big deal of it to start the playoffs.
