I will say that the only saving grace to me is that coming into the series what scared me most is that their pitching is better than ours. We had our chances tonight though, plenty of hits and chances to score. If we can continue to do that throughout the series the runs will come.

Now let's come out tomorrow and make em pucker

Announcers said they were 14-5 in 1 run games this season.

Apparently just don't pitch to Arozarena.

That one hurts. Couldn't have really drawn up the game script any better. Framber pitched much better than Snell. Got a lead quick. Had lots of traffic on the base paths. Rays didn't use some of their best relievers. Still couldn't get the job done.

Biggest key going forward is that we gotta have the lead thru 6 innings. Can't expect to stage late inning rallies against these guys.

I'm not a doom and gloom guy but I'm not sure I see how we win this series. LMJ and Greinke are gonna need to pitch their d*cks off.

Their strength is pitching. I think what got them here over the Yankees is that New York was so dependent on the long ball. Which is encouraging for us because we had a lot of traffic tonight but just couldn't plate runs. If we can get those same situations and deliver we will be fine.
