Someone should tell Altuve to not swing in an entire at bat. Just literally take every pitch thrown for one full at bat.

Doing that would at least make a pitcher put a pitch in the zone.

Blummer said it best. He's swing at stuff out of the zone, and watching stuff in the zone.

If Diaz was healthy then I could see it as a possibility for a 2-3 game stretch

Problem is your replacing him with Toro or Mayfield at this point who are worse

The problem right now is that our backup options really arent any better. Who is he going to put in there? If it were some previous roster where we have a healthy Aledmys or Marwin or even Kemp then yeah sit him.
