I saw a tweet earlier today, sorry don't feel like digging it back up, where some college AD said something to the effect of..
"If we're planning on playing games without fans, that means we don't think it's safe for fans. If it's not safe for fans, why is it safe for players?"

Now, this is a guy talking about college athletes, but I wonder if pro team owners, or league offices, have similar feelings.

There is a major difference between 100k fans on top of each other at a stadium and a select few players and coaches around each other with quarantine rules and testing.

So are they going to lock down players and staff? They cant go out to eat or have any contact with outside people? If not just let them go to their own ball parks, same difference.

At first glance it looks like we are getting shaft in the division setup, but then you realize that those 4 NL teams weren't created for DH rule, and don't have a Yordan waiting on their bench to fill that role.

Pearce's comments are similar to Kinsler's. I think it's clear that what MLB isn't going to get from Boston is honesty from the players, which is why both of those guys don't expect much in the report. After what happened with us, why would any player open up?
