4000 UK scouts were at the game (in town for the jamboree), he threw them a ball between innings, and every time he caught anything after that he got a standing ovation. One girl bought his jersey between innings.

After I originally saw this, I went back and read a bunch tweets around it. Many of the parents in the UK were tweeting about how much fun the kids had. Imagine being a parent in England, your kid is in the US without you, and you hear of shootings in El Paso, and then Dayton...and then you see your kids flashed all over twitter and even ESPN doing something fun and positive and wholesome. Had to be really reassuring and fun to see.
