I'm in Amarillo overnight, so I'm at the new stadium for the Padres AA affiliate, the Sod Poodles.

This is exciting. I've wanted to see a minor league game for a long time. Their new stadium here is very pretty!

Not many names on the rosters I'm familiar with yet. The only exception would be Fernando Tatis, Jr.

Yes, but he was on their roster - at least in the program. Just the only name recognized prior to the game.

They have a 1st baseman, Brad Zunica, who can crush it. May hear more about him in the future.

Been to a couple (Tacoma Raniers and Potomac Nationals). Minor league games are fun (and a hell of a lot cheaper for great seats). Gonna try to hit up Corpus and Round Rock this summer
